Paper Presentation at International Indonesia Geothermal Convention and Exhibition (IIGCE) 2024
On September 18th, one of our Associate Drilling Engineer, Pradana Vian Prasetyo, has successfully presented our paper at the International Indonesia Geothermal Convention and Exhibition (IIGCE) 2024. He delivered an insightful session with the title “Drilling Strategies in Red Clay Zone to Manage Iron Oxide Minerals Experience from P-Field, Indonesia”.
This presentation provides a comprehensive explanation about our study, from one of the noteworthy geothermal area in Indonesia in West Java. During this campaign, our drilling team faced many challenges, particularly when drilling in reservoir zone.
This paper aims to explain some drilling strategies to overcome the problems encountered in the red clay formation, providing valuable lessons for other geothermal operators in Indonesia facing similar challenges.
