On September 2024, RIGSIS had the honor for collaboration and knowledge exchange among leading experts and key geothermal stakeholders at the incredible event, the International Indonesia Geothermal Convention and Exhibition (IIGCE) 2024.
We were privileged to connect with esteemed representatives from outstanding companies including COWI, Verkís, Iceland GeoSurvey (ÍSOR), HD, North Tech Energy, and Iceland Drilling. Together, we explored into discussions, highlighting the potential of geothermal energy in both Indonesia and globally. Our collective efforts highlight the importance of sustainable energy solutions and the role geothermal resources in addressing energy demands.
A significant highlight of our participation was a courtesy meeting along with the Ambassador of Iceland to Indonesia with the Key Geothermal Stakeholders. This gathering highlighted the strong diplomatic ties between Iceland and Indonesia to advancing geothermal energy initiatives. The gathering also provided a platform for discussing the potential of geothermal energy as a sustainable solution to the world’s energy demands.
Insights from the Ambassador supported the importance of international collaboration in harnessing geothermal resources.
