Geothermal Case Study Competition IPFEST 2020
Geothermal Case Study Competition IPFEST 2020 was a platform for students to improve their skills in dealing with a geothermal project, as well as for experts to have interactions with students and to see fresh ideas that might be applicable for the industry.
Each team consists of four (4) students from various backgrounds. The goal of this competition was to develop an area with provided geoscience data. The development started from geoscience review, resource assessment, drilling strategy, exploration delineation, to project economic calculation. The competition was being judged comprehensively by the distinguished judges: Mrs Nenny Saptadji (Institut Teknologi Bandung) Mr Dorman Purba (PT Rigsis Energi Indonesia) and Mr Budi Kristianto (PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero).
Congratulation to the EPIDOTE team (Institut Teknologi Bandung) as the champion, TRAVERTINE team (Universitas Pertamina) in the second place, and GeoMech team (Universitas Gajah Mada) in the third place.
Currently, Ms Astrini Yuswandari (EPIDOTE team) and Ms Fauzia Fadhila Anwar (TRAVERTINE) are doing their final project and internship at PT Rigsis Energi Indonesia. We are happy to have such outstanding and motivated students in our company.
